Clive Nichols

Clive Nichols has established a reputation as one of the world's finest flower and garden photographers. His passion for the subject comes across in every image that he makes. His work has appeared in hundreds of books as well as in countless magazines, calendars and brochures. Over the past 25 years he has amassed a stunning collection of over 60,000 images which are available for reproduction. Clive regularly gives master classes in flower and garden photography for The Royal Horticultural Society and for the past 5 years he has been one of the two main judges for the prestigious 'International Garden Photographer of the Year' awards.

Clive also photographs interiors, travel, architecture and lifestyle, undertaking many prestigious commissions including a calendar of the world's best modern buildings for a Russian Senator, a book about the finest Villa on Lake Como for Conde Nast and a new brochure on the historic BMA House in tavistock Square, London, for the British Medical Association.

Jane is co owner of Clive Nichols Garden Photography. She looks after the strategic business development and longer term planning of the business. She was founding Chairman of The Garden Photographers' Association.

Stephen remotely manages the imaging workflow and web database systems for Clive ensuring that the images are available to clients with full colour management and metadata present.

Stephen is also a team member on the shoots that Clive organizes for clients. Here he works as digital assistant providing live views from the camera to enable the art director to see how Clive is shooting.

He also retouches the images from these shoots.

Gemma is PA to Clive and has been with the company since December 2009. She worked as PA to the general manager of the prototype department at Aston Martin in Warwickshire previous to this. She now spends most of her time managing Clive's busy travel schedule as well as being responsible for the general day to day running of the office, she has a very varied role and no two days are ever the same!

Richard accompanies Clive on most of his overseas travel assignments as well as those in the UK. Recent shoots include a month long tour of the world - photographing 14 of the world's best buildings for a Russian Senator, numerous flower shoots for retail giant NEXT and a 3 day shoot at the stunning Villa Giuseppina on Lake Como, Italy

Jacky is a creative freelance stylist and writer. She is the stylist for all the NEXT flower shoots that Clive undertakes, as well as working with Clive on interior and garden shoots. She also works in close partnership with photographer Michelle Garrett to produce garden, lifestyle, travel and food features for a wide variety of magazines, corporate brochures, websites and books - including her own title - Floral Gifts
